ABOUT OUR FREE TOY PROGRAM:

Anyone who has a 'need' for Christmas toys can apply for free toys by filling out our TOY REQUEST FORM. Please answer all questions honestly and openly. We do phone many customers to follow up with their current situation and need. If you are awarded toys, we generally grant 2-3 toys per child for children ages 3-12 only. We are trying to expand future programs to include teenagers and toddlers where gift giving is concerned. We understand there is a serious need and we are working on this area.

We are directly sponsored by the US Marines, Toys For Tots / D & S Sci Fi Toys of Battleground, Washington as well as Pied Piper Pizza in Vancouver, Washington. We have served as an official gift outlet for several years in the Portland area and give thousands of toys away with the direct help from our sponsors. We also work with KGW News Channel 8 of Portland to find homes for our toys. IMPORTANT: We only accept applications through our website. All applications are printed in physical form, on computer to keep information organized for review as needed. We do not accept printed or dropped-off applications at our office.

CONTACT INFORMATION:

If you are awarded toys, we will contact you by email first. If that is unsuccessful, we will attempt to phone you. If you cannot be reached, you will be deleted from our system. We are very busy during the holidays so please, double check your information before submitting it the first time.

PICKING UP YOUR TOYS:

Previous winners can apply again if their situation has not changed since last Christmas however please tell us at the bottom of your application that we have served you before so we can note that in your file. This helps us know your progress as a family.

CLAIMING YOUR TOYS IN PERSON :

Those awarded with presents will be provided with an address to claim your toys. The address is open during posted hours and you can give the attendant your printed award letter and they will give you your toys. Toys can be collected only during normal hours of operation.

BRING PHOTO ID BEARING YOUR NAME AND PICTURE:

You will need to bring a photo ID, driver's license (expired is okay) or other form of ID with your photo showing you are the person we awarded the toys to. We ask for two names on the account. Don't send your brother, friend or co-worker unless they are on listed in your account with us, we won't give them your presents.

CAN CHILDREN ATTEND?

Children are welcome to visit but please help them behave. Children who are 'out of control and noisy' will be added to The Naughty List then eaten by Santa's monsters..

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I AM SELECTED FOR FREE TOYS?

If you are awarded toys we will attempt to contact you first by the email you used on your Toy Request Form. If email is unsuccessful we will attempt to reach you by telephone. If you cannot be reached by email or phone, you will be dropped from our system. If you do not hear from us by December 16, 2009 assume your application form was not selected.

IN EXTREMELY RARE CASES WE MAY SHARE YOUR INFORMATION:

We are required by law to report abusive or dangerous situations to the Police. If you have a situation you would like to keep private, please phone, email or write and we will quietly put you in contact with the authorities. This will in no way jepordize your toy award. If you have already reported the violence, simply tell us in your note section that is is for information purposes only.
